Northern Nexus August Board Meeting

10:00 a.m.

August 27, 2018

On Monday August 27, 2018 at 10:00am there was a meeting at the Governmental Center to discuss the current status of Northern Nexus.  In attendance were:

Chuck Korn, Garfield Township Supervisor

Nicole Blonshine, Blair Township Supervisor

Beth Friend, East Bay Township Supervisor

Richard Lewis, City of Traverse City Commissioner

Nate Alger, Grand Traverse County Administrator

Martin Colburn, City of Traverse City Manger

 

It was discussed that the last meeting of Northern Nexus was May 26, 2016.  The value and need of Northern Nexus services was also discussed and it was determined that the Board should be changed to reflect the current position holders in the represented municipalities and that Northern Nexus should continue to exist and begin to meet on a regular basis.

 

The changes to the Board are as follows:

  • Nicole Blonshine, Blair Township Supervisor in place of Pat Pahl
  • Add Beth Friend, East Bay Supervisor in place of Glen Lile
  • Add Richard Lewis, Traverse City Commissioner in place of Commissioner Haas
